ABOUT DR BEER

	Kenneth R. Beer, M.D. West Palm Beach, Florida

Kenneth R. Beer, MD, FAAD is a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who completed his residency in dermatology and fellowship in dermatopathology at The University of Chicago. He is one of a few cosmetic and surgical dermatologists to be credentialed in both specialties. He is a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami and a Consulting Associate in the Department of Medicine at Duke University. He is on many committees for the ASDS, and AAD as well as a medical expert for the Agency for Health Care Administration. By combining his dermatology and dermatopathology expertise, Dr. Beer has become a leader in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. He conducts clinical trials in skin cancer prevention and treatment as well as many trials for cosmetic indications.

Dr. Beer is known nationally and internationally as the Founder of The Cosmetic Bootcamp, the premiere training program for cosmetic dermatology and surgical training to other physicians the many injection techniques that are available. In addition, he is a member of the Allergan National Training Center for Botox Cosmetic, the Sculptra Training program for Dermik as well as the Evolence STAR Training Program with Orthoneutrogena. Dr. Beer has been a faculty member instructing courses on Practice Management & Enhancement, Toxins & Filler Tips & Techniques, Advanced Dermasurgery Techniques and much more for the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Skin Disease Education Foundation.

Dr. Beer has authored numerous publications including several scientific articles and chapters in textbooks of Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology. Among the publications Dr. Beer has published are articles comparing various topical creams with Botox, different types of fillers used to treat nasolabial creases and a host of others that have advanced the field of dermatology. He is renowned as one of the country's top experts in Botox and has published extensively in cosmetic dermatology journals, including "Cosmetic Dermatology" , "Dermatologic Surgery" and the author of the monthly "Cosmetic Clinic" for dermatologists that appears in "Skin and Aging" magazine.

He has consulted with several corporations over the years including: Allergan, Medicis, Sanofi Aventis, Stiefel and Johnson & Johnson (Ortho-Neutrogena). Dr. Beer has been quoted in national magazines and newspapers such as Elle, Self, Time, Vogue, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, NY Times, and The Wall Street Journal; and has appeared on NBC and ABC local affiliates in South Florida.

He was an A.B. Duke Scholar at Duke University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and has a medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania. He and his family reside in Jupiter, Florida.
